Special prosecutor in Bill Cosby's sexual assault retrial

"The Prosecutor Who Stared Down Bill Cosby"

Kristen Gibbons Feden concentrates her practice on complex commercial litigation, securities litigation and enforcement, education law, employment & labor, and white-collar defense. Prior to joining Stradley Ronon Stevens & Young, she was Assistant District Attorney in Montgomery County District Attorney’s Office where she served the community as Prosecutor in the Trials Division. Leading the Domestic Violence Unit and Elder Abuse Unit as Captain, as well as an assigned prosecutor within the Sex Crimes Unit, Attorney Feden investigated and prosecuted cases of child and elder abuse and neglect, rape, sexual violence, internet crimes against children, and financial exploitation against elders. Over the course of her tenure in the District Attorney’s Office, Attorney Feden has prosecuted all types of criminal cases, ranging in seriousness, including homicides, rapes, aggravated assaults, burglaries, elder financial exploitation crimes, cases of child pornography, and more. Her most notable case was Commonwealth v. William H. Cosby, where she played a critical role in the first trial, which resulted in a hung jury, and the second trial where a convict on was attained. In both, Attorney Feden drafted and litigated pretrial motions and questioned key witnesses. In the first trial, she delivered the opening statement, and in the second trial, she cross-examined key witnesses and delivered the closing argument.

Jeremy Meisinger, Esq.

An associate in the Administrative Law Department of Foley Hoag, Attorney Meisinger counsels public and private-sector clients on a variety of regulatory questions and advises clients under investigation by federal and state regulatory agencies. 
He also maintains an active pro bono practice, and his continued, long-standing commitment to the VRLC has been invaluable to our organization and clients.  Known for going above and beyond for each VRLC client, he approaches each case with sensitivity, compassion, and a real understanding of the complex issues involved in sexual violence.

 

 

 

Emcee:
Janet Wu

Janet recently joined Bloomberg after many years as an anchor reporter at Boston's NBC station. She is also an adjunct professor at Emerson College. Her work has been published in The New York Times, The Boston Globe and The 2018 Norton Sampler of Essays. She is a founding member of SheGives, a philanthropic fund created by women. Wu is an overseer for the New England Conservatory of Music and Franciscan Children's Hospital. She sits on advisory boards for Homestart, the Boston chapter of the Heart Association, and the Max Warburg Courage Curriculum. She graduated from Yale with a dual major in Philosophy and  Psychology and earned a Master's degree in Journalism and International Affairs from Columbia. She was named the 2015 New England Girl Scouts Leading Woman of the Year and delivered a TedX Talk on perspective. She plays the piano and cello and has traveled to 71 countries, 28 solo.
