Registration for the February 12th and 13th, 2008 OVW-sponsored conference in New Orleans is officially closed. Materials from this conference will be available on our website in March 2008. Please check back for announcements on upcoming VRLC teleconferences and institutes.

The VRLC has been providing training and technical assistance on civil legal services for victims of sexual assault to Office of Violence Against Women (OVW) grantee programs nationwide since 2004 through a cooperative agreement with the U.S. Department of Justice Office of Violence Against Women. As an OVW national training and technical assistance provider on civil legal representation for sexual assault victims, the VRLC provides OVW grantees and their partners:

National trainings on civil legal services for victims of sexual assault;
Individual case consultation to OVW-funded programs; and
General technical assistance on providing civil legal services to victims of sexual assault, including program development and building a coordinated community response to sexual assault.
